The candidate should have at least 01 (one) year remaining to complete 70 years of age from the date of engagement, as per Board's Letter No. E(W)2018/ISM/8/Pt. dated 25.07.2019. The consultant shall cease to be engaged upon attaining the age of 70 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed under RBE No. 13/2014 to be considered for the post of Homeopathic Consultant.
Educational Qualification
- BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized Homeopathy College, registered with the State/Central Council of Homeopathy, after successful completion of internship, OR
- DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized Homeopathy College, registered with the State/Central Council of Homeopathy, with at least 1½ years of working experience.

Salary / Honorarium
The engaged Homeopathic Consultant will receive a consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 37,500/- for 4 hours of engagement per day.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Attending the Homeopathic Dispensary during prescribed hours
- Examining patients and prescribing treatment
- Maintaining OPD registers and medical records
- Submitting periodical reports as required by the Railway Administration/SBF Committee
- Performing any other work assigned in connection with the functioning of the Homeopathic Dispensary

The selection of candidates for the post of Homeopathic Consultant will be based on aggregate merit obtained in the following parameters: Educational Qualification, Experience, Personal Interview. Mere submission of an application does not guarantee a call for interview.
