The National Institute of Technology Warangal is inviting applications for the Technical Assistant position under a DRDO-GTRE sponsored project. Age limit is relaxable; preference is for young, dynamic and active candidates preferably below 25 years. No specific fixed cut-off date is mentioned beyond this preference and relaxable condition.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications: ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Electrician / Instrument Mechanic) or Diploma (Mechanical / Metallurgical / Electrical / Instrumentation) from a recognized institution. Salary/Stipend

First 2 years: Rs. 17,600 + 20% HRA per month. 3rd year: Rs. 22,000 + 20% HRA per month. Institute will not provide accommodation for temporary staff such as JRF/SRF/Technical Assistant employed under any research/consultancy project.

Selection Process

The mode of interview will be offline. The list of shortlisted candidates and interview date will be displayed on the institute website www.nitw.ac.in. The decision of the appointing authority shall be final, and the institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the position. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the DRDO-GTRE project.
