Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification for both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper posts is Senior Secondary (Class 12th) pass. Marks/weightage for educational qualification will be determined as per the selection format ('Mulyankan Patra-B') revised on 01.10.2024 issued by the Directorate.

Eligibility Criteria

Only local resident women of the concerned Gram Panchayat (for rural areas) or the concerned ward of the urban Anganwadi centre (for urban areas) are eligible to apply. A woman applying for an Anganwadi centre should be a local resident of the same Gram Panchayat as the revenue village to which that Anganwadi centre belongs.
