Engineering graduates aged 18 to 42 years (as on 1 July 2026) can apply. The maximum age limit is 42 years for Unreserved candidates, with various relaxations for other categories.
To be eligible for the APGENCO Assistant Executive Engineer Recruitment 2026, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech./A.M.I.E. degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university in India. All educational qualifications must be completed as on the date of issue of the notification (25 June 2026). Candidates still appearing in their final exams are not eligible.

The APGENCO AEE 2026 selection process is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) with no interview or personality test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Certificate Verification before the final selection list is prepared.
