UPSC Jobs 2026 – Union Public Service Commission Recruitment Guide
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India's premier central recruiting agency for Group A and Group B gazetted posts under the Government of India. Established under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution, UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for recruitment to prestigious All India Services – IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service) – and Central Civil Services. The CSE is a three-stage exam: Preliminary (objective), Mains (descriptive), and Personality Test (Interview). UPSC also conducts CDS for defence officers, NDA for 12th pass defence aspirants, CAPF (AC) for paramilitary officers, and several other examinations throughout the year.
