Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is recruiting for 17 Non-teaching posts including positions such as Assistant Curator and Artist. Candidates should have relevant qualifications ranging from a Master's degree to Intermediate level, with roles requiring specific experience and degrees in related fields.
All Posts: As per GoI rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen. No age bar for permanent BHU employees. Service period in projects/contract counted for relaxation.
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Curator: Master's degree in Museology/AIHC & Archaeology/History of Art/Archaeology/Heritage Management/Heritage Studies with minimum 55% marks or equivalent. Diploma in Museology (except candidates with Master's degree in Museology) OR at least one paper related to Exhibition Management/Museum Studies.
Artist: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Five years' experience in techniques of traditional Indian (Rajasthani, Pahari, Mughal) painting OR Commercial Art as applicable to museum's work viz. designing exhibitions/posters/publicity material etc.
Assistant Photographer: Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with Photography OR Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Photography from a recognised institution. One year's professional experience in photography and digital image processing.
Junior Darner: Intermediate. Five years' experience in working on relevant areas in a museum.
