Tradesman: Not more than 25 Years (relaxable for Govt. servants by 5 years) Seaman & Greaser: 18-25 Years Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualification

Tradesman: ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Diesel/Fitter/Turner/Welder/Electrician/Instrumental/Carpentry + X Class pass + 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair. Seaman: X Class pass + 3 years experience in sea going mechanized vessel (2 years in helmsman & seamanship work).
