CSIR - Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) is inviting applications for various temporary positions like Project Assistant-II, Project Associate-I, Senior Project Associate, and Junior Research Fellow. The recruitment is for research projects with essential qualifications in fields like Engineering, Science, and Technology. Project Associate-I (PAT-I): B.E./B.Tech. in Leather Technology with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Min. 6 months industrial exposure in leather processing / sustainability assessment / testing & evaluation of chemicals.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical/Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months industrial exposure in process industries / wastewater analysis / electronics manufacturing / industrial safety.
JRF or Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry (General/Organic/Nanotechnology/Polymer/Material/Inorganic/Physical/Analytical) with minimum 60% marks with NET/GATE qualification (for JRF); OR M.Sc. Chemistry with minimum 60% marks (for PAT-I). Desirable: Research experience in organic reactions, colloids, organic synthesis, inorganic/composite materials synthesis.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry (General/Organic/Nanotechnology/Polymer/Material/Inorganic/Physical/Analytical) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Research experience in organic reactions/coatings, colloids, organic synthesis, inorganic/composite materials, chromatography, wastewater analysis.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Polymer Chemistry/Material Science with minimum 60% marks OR B.E./B.Tech. in Polymer Technology with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: M.Tech in Footwear Science & Engineering/Footwear Engineering & Management OR min. 6 months experience in footwear making/material testing.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Working knowledge of MS Office and Data Management.
JRF or Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences with minimum 60% marks OR M.Sc. Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Lifesciences with minimum 60% marks OR B.Tech in Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in recombinant protein expression, cell culture, or biomaterial fabrication.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences with minimum 60% marks OR M.Sc. Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Lifesciences with minimum 60% marks OR B.Tech in Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks. Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT): M.Pharm/M.Sc. Biotechnology/Lifesciences with minimum 60% marks and 3 years of Research experience OR M.Tech Biotechnology/Life Science with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: 4 years research experience in biomaterial fabrication/animal handling.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. Microbiology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in wastewater/solid waste analysis, microbial techniques, bench scale biological reactors, computer operations.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Statistics/Computer Science/Mathematics with minimum 60% marks OR B.E. in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months relevant research or industrial experience.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/IT/AI & ML/AI & DS with minimum 60% marks OR MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/AI & ML with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in Data Analytics, AI/ML model development, Software/Tool development.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Physics/Medical Physics with minimum 60% marks OR B.E. in Biomedical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months relevant research or industrial experience in Biomedical/Electronics.
Project Assistant-II (PA-II): B.Sc. in Physics/Biomechanics with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: M.Sc. Biomechanics OR min. 6 months experience in R&D in sports biomechanics.
Project Assistant-II (PA-II): 3-Year Diploma in Engineering/Technology in Leather/Textile/Footwear/Mechanical with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in leather/textile/non-leather product making industry.
Project Assistant-II (PA-II): B.Sc. in Fashion Technology/Apparel Technology/Fashion Design/Textile/Leather Design with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in leather/non-leather product making industry.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): B.Tech./B.Des. in Leather/Textile/Leather Design/Accessories Design/Fashion Design or equivalent. Desirable: Knowledge in Leather/Textile Product Design and Development, Work experience in Leather/Textile Product Design & Fabrication, Pattern Making.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering OR M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science. Desirable: Knowledge in documentation, design & development of skill analytics dashboards, AI predictive models; 2 years R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. (Bioinformatics/Chemistry/Biotechnology) OR B.E./B.Tech. (Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Knowledge in programming and molecular modeling/simulation. First class degree holders preferred.
Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University. Desirable: Demonstrated interest in computational chemistry, materials modeling and AI/ML with proficiency in Python programming.
JRF or Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry/Chemistry) with CSIR-UGC-NET/Lectureship or GATE (for JRF) OR M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry/Chemistry) from a recognized University (for PAT-I). Desirable: Basic synthetic skills and laboratory experience.

Selection Process
The selection process for CSIR-CLRI Notification No. 03/2026 consists of 2 (two) successive stages — a Written Test (qualifying in nature) followed by a Personal Interview.
