As per the advertisement, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 45 years, reckoned as on 01.01.2026. HPRCA Assistant Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a female candidate only.
- Applicant must be a Himachali Bonafide.
- Applicant must be registered with HPNRC, Shimla-06 (Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council).
- The candidate must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
HPRCA Assistant Staff Nurse Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications from a recognized University/Institution: B.Sc. Nursing with 50% marks, or GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with 50% marks.

HPRCA Assistant Staff Nurse Selection Process 2026
Selection will be made through a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written screening test of 120 marks, of 1½ hours (one and a half hours) duration. The test will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% for General category candidates and 40% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes/Wards of Freedom Fighters candidates.
