Age will be reckoned as on 7 September 2026. ITI candidates: must have completed 15 years and not completed 24 years of age. Non-ITI candidates: must have completed 15 years and not completed 22 years of age. Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates. Upper age relaxation for Persons with Disability: 10 years.

The merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in Std X. If two candidates have equal marks, preference is given to the candidate with older age. Candidates selected against benchmark disabilities are allotted only the trade permissible to them. Selected candidates must produce a Medical Certificate from a Government-authenticated doctor during Document Verification.
