Indian Navy is recruiting for 60 Permanent Commissioned Officer posts in Technical Branches under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme. Candidates must pass 10+2 with at least 70% in PCM and appear for JEE (Main) 2026. Applications are open from 29-05-2026 to 18-06-2026.

Candidates must have been born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive) to be eligible for the January 2027 course. There is no separate age relaxation mentioned — the age band is fixed for all candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of application. Only unmarried men and women fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India are eligible. Application Fee

Selection Process
Selection will be based on JEE (Main) 2026 CRL-based shortlisting, followed by SSB Interview, Medical Examination, and Police & Character Verification. Merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness. Candidates will be appointed subject to Police Verification, Character Verification, and availability of vacancies in the entry.
Training Details
Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four-year B.Tech Course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding. On completion of the course, B.Tech Degree will be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
