The Indian Navy is recruiting Agniveer (Apprentice) for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches, offering multiple vacancies across Engineering and Electrical streams. Candidates must have completed a 3-year Diploma course and are subject to a four-year service term under the Agnipath Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date. Only unmarried Indian male candidates are eligible to apply. All qualifications must be from AICTE-recognised Polytechnic Institutes.

Essential Educational Qualification

Passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India AND completed a 3-year Diploma course from an AICTE-recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in any of the qualifying diploma trades (Engineering or Electrical as applicable).

Selection Process

Stage 1 - INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) followed by Stage 2 which includes Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Medical Examination.

How to Apply

Candidates must apply online only at https://joinindiannavy.gov.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. Applications can also be uploaded through Common Service Centres (CSC) across the country at a fee of ₹60 + GST (optional facility).
