The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is inviting applications for 36 Senior Resident Doctor positions. Candidates with MD/MS/DNB qualifications in respective fields are eligible. The recruitment is part of a special drive for SC/ST/OBC and Persons with Disabilities, with a maximum age limit of 60 years including relaxations.

Central Govt Servants: Up to 5 years relaxation
Ex-servicemen: Service tenure + 3 years (minimum 6 months service required)
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
MD/MS/DNB in respective field/subject (post-graduate qualification)
Medical degree included in Schedule I & II of 3rd Schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
Satisfactory completion of compulsory internship after MBBS
Valid registration with State Medical Council/National Medical Commission (NMC)

Salary & Benefits
Salary Grade: Level 11 of Central Govt Pay Matrix
Entry Pay: ₹67,700/- per month
Allowances: NPA (Non-Practising Allowance) + other allowances as per Central Govt Rules for identical posts
Estimated Total Package: ₹95,000-₹1,05,000/month (including all components)
Leave: As per Central Govt rules
Medical Benefits: Central Govt employee medical scheme

- Result of screening test for foreign medical qualifications (FMGE)
- MD/MS/DNB passed certificate
- Medical Registration Certificate (MBBS/MD/MS/DNB)
- NOC from present employer (if employed)
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- Residence Certificate/Aadhar/Voter ID/Passport
- Character Certificate
Selection Process
Document Screening: Applications and documents will be screened for eligibility
Eligibility Verification: Only candidates meeting all criteria will be shortlisted
Interview: Personal interview will be conducted for shortlisted candidates
Document Verification: Original documents must be brought at interview
Final Selection: Based on interview performance and qualifications
