The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) is hiring 3 Library Apprentices under BoPT/NATS. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc) degree from a recognized university and will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 14,000 per month.

Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized Indian University/Institute and passed out after 1st January 2021.Computer proficiency will be given preference.

General Information / Instructions

Selected apprentices will work in various sections of NISER Central Library and on emerging tools and technologies in Library and Information Science. The library remains open all days, including holidays, requiring candidates to work shifts. No TA/DA for attending tests/interviews. Accommodation provided during the apprentice period is subject to availability.
