National Institute of Technology Sikkim is recruiting Guest/Temporary Faculty for the Department of Civil Engineering. Candidates must have a relevant PhD and are expected to deliver lectures and conduct research in Transportation Engineering. The positions are contractual, with the possibility of extension based on performance and institute requirements.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Class X (10th Standard): Passed with acceptable marks
- Class XII (12th Standard/Intermediate): Passed with acceptable marks
- Diploma/B.Tech./M.Tech.: Any one or more of these with First Division
- PhD (Doctorate): PhD in relevant engineering discipline from recognized university/institute OR Ph.D. thesis submitted (considered equivalent)
- Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Teaching experience in Central Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) such as NITs, IITs, or ISM
- Teaching experience in reputed educational institutions
- Research publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Industry experience in transportation engineering
- Expertise in specialized areas of transportation engineering such as: Highway Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Pavement Design and Construction, Rail/Metro Engineering, Urban Transport Systems
