Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 – NMMC

Maximum age: 70 years, as per the circular of the Mission Director, National Urban Health Mission, dated 25.05.2019, calculated as on the last date of application. Candidates aged 60 years or above are required to submit a physical and mental fitness certificate issued by the District Surgeon along with their application.

Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university. Registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (or equivalent recognized medical council, as applicable) is mandatory. The qualification must have been obtained from a university/institution recognized by the Government.

Selection for the Medical Officer (MBBS) post is made directly through a walk-in interview; there is no written examination. Candidates must report for registration, document scrutiny, and verification between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on the interview date, followed by the interview on the same day.
