The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has announced a recruitment drive for the positions of Warder and Matron with a total of 532 vacancies. Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent, with Punjabi as a compulsory subject. Interested individuals can apply online from April 1, 2026, to April 21, 2026.

- Warder (Male Only): Candidates Should Possess 10+2 or equivalent examination of any recognized Education Board with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or Elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, as specified by the Government from time to time.
- Matron (Female Only): Candidates Should passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of any recognized Education Board with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or Elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, as specified by the Government from time to time. Only women can be recruited as Matron.

Selection Process
Written Examination (Objective Type MCQ) - Two parts: Part-A (Punjabi Language – Qualifying only, minimum 50% marks required), Part-B (Main paper – Merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Part-B only). General Instructions for Candidates
Category and Category Code filled in the online form cannot be changed later. Only Punjab domicile candidates are eligible for reservation benefits.
