Probationary Officer

Candidates applying for SBI PO Recruitment 2026 must be not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01 April 2026, meaning they must have been born between 02 April 1996 and 01 April 2005 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is available to specific categories, but the notification clarifies that cumulative age relaxation across multiple categories is not permitted.

Candidates need a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, as on 30 September 2026. Final-year or final-semester students can also apply provisionally, but they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30 September 2026 if shortlisted for interview.
