Age Limit (as on 01/07/2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 44 years.
Note:
As per G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Department, Dt. 18/05/2026, the upper age limit has been raised by 10 years (from 34 to 44 years).
SC / ST / BCs / EWS: 5 Years
Physically Handicapped (PwD): 10 Years
Telangana State Government Employees (with regular service): Up to 5 Years (based on length of regular service)
Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + Length of Armed Forces service
NCC Instructors (recruited on or after 01/01/1963): 3 Years + Length of NCC service (minimum 6 months of service required)
