Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is recruiting for two positions: Assistant Professor in Law and Public Policy and Post Doctoral Fellow. Candidates should have a Master's degree or Ph.D. as per the specified criteria. The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years, with some relaxations for reserved categories.
Post Doctoral Fellow: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Women/PWD candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Professor in Law and Public Policy
A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in law from a recognised university.
Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET OR awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.

Salary Details
Assistant Professor: Entry pay of Rs. 57700/- in the Academic Pay level 10 as per 7th CPC.
Post Doctoral Fellow: Rs. 80,000 consolidated with annual increment (if extended after one year) as per the Institute's norms.
