The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is inviting applications for the position of Scientific Officer on an ad-hoc basis, with 1 vacancy available. Maximum Age Limit: 40 years.

Age Relaxation

Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 05 Years, OBC: 03 Years, PWD: 10 Years [additional 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC], Ex-servicemen: length of service + 3 years (additional for SC/ST/OBC), TMC employees: maximum 5 years. No relaxation for reserved categories if post is unreserved.

Eligibility Criteria

Ph.D degree in Life Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Genetics/Biochemistry/Zoology/Genomics or equivalent. At least 1 year experience in molecular techniques like PCR, sequencing, FISH, basic bioinformatics, basic statistics from a reputed institute is mandatory. At least one peer-reviewed publication. Desirable Experience: Laboratory accreditation related experience for 1 year.
