The Tripura Forest Department is recruiting for 271 vacancies for the positions of Forest Guard and Forester. Candidates must meet the educational qualifications of Madhyamik passed for Forest Guard and Higher Secondary passed for Forester, along with a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura. Forest Guard: Madhyamik (Class 10) passed or equivalent. Forester: Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) passed or equivalent. Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.
Applicants must possess Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).

Minimum Height (cm) for Male (UR & SC): 163, ST: 152; for Female (UR & SC): 150, ST: 145. Minimum Chest Girth (cm): Male: 79, Female: 74. Normal Expansion: 5 cm. Distance to be covered on foot in 4 hours: Male: 25 Km, Female: 16 Km.
Selection will be done through Written Examination (85% marks) and Interview (15% marks). Candidates securing cut-off marks in the written test will be called for an interview. Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
