Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts. The candidate must be a permanent resident of the ward/gram sabha of the vacant post. If an eligible candidate from the relevant category is not available in that ward/gram sabha, a permanent resident of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat is eligible.

The minimum educational qualification for the Anganwadi Sahayika post is Intermediate (12th pass) or an equivalent qualification.

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared according to the provisions laid out in the relevant government recruitment order. No written examination or interview will be conducted for these posts.
