The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) is recruiting for 40 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer and Assistant Scientific Officer. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields or a Doctorate/Master's degree in science with necessary experience are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- Indian citizen
- For Assistant Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering or AMIE.
- For Assistant Scientific Officer: Doctorate in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry with 3 years experience OR Master's degree with 5 years experience in Environment/Pollution Control/Public Health.
- Caste certificate required for reserved category candidates.
- Original documents to be produced at interview.

Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT) - 400 marks. For Assistant Environmental Engineer: Environmental Engineering (280 marks) + General Aptitude (120 marks), 120 minutes duration. For Assistant Scientific Officer: Environmental Sciences (280 marks) + General Aptitude (120 marks), 120 minutes duration.
