The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the notification for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2026, with approximately 500 vacancies available. Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree and aged 21 to 40 years as of 1 July 2026 can apply online until 27 July 2026.

The UPPSC PCS 2026 selection process consists of Preliminary Examination, Main (Written) Examination, and Interview. The final merit is based on the combined score of the Main Examination and Interview marks.
The UPPSC PCS 2026 online application is submitted through the OTR (One Time Registration) based system available at uppsc.up.nic.in. Applications sent through any other medium will not be accepted. Candidates must obtain an OTR number, which requires registration at otr.pariksha.nic.in at least 72 hours before submitting the application.
Selected candidates will receive salaries as per the 6th Pay Commission ranging from Rs. 9300–34800 with various Grade Pay.
Deputy Collector, DSP, BDO, Naib Tehsildar, Senior gazetted posts (Group A services).
