Delete Your Sarkari Scan Account

Ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need to sign in.

This page is for the Sarkari Scan mobile app, published by Sarkari Scan. Fill in the form below and we will delete your account and your personal data.

Already have the app installed? The fastest route is Profile → Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account, because you are already signed in there, so we can confirm it is you immediately and skip the verification step below.

Request deletion

Use the same email or mobile number you signed up with in the Sarkari Scan app.

What happens next

    You submit this form

    We record your request. Nothing is deleted at this point.

    We confirm it is really you

    Within 7 days we contact you on the email or number you gave us. We have to do this — otherwise anyone could type in your email and have your account deleted.

  3. 3

    We delete your data

    Once you confirm, your account and personal data are removed within 30 days, apart from the small set of records listed below.

What gets deleted

  • Your name, email address and mobile number
  • Date of birth, gender and category (General / OBC / SC / ST / EWS)
  • Education details — qualifications, degrees and specialisations
  • Saved jobs, applied jobs and job category preferences
  • Eligibility check results and their history
  • Remaining eligibility check credits
  • Notification tokens for your device, and your notification settings

Deletion is permanent. Saved jobs, eligibility results and any unused credits cannot be restored afterwards, even if you reinstall the app.

What we keep, and why

Payment and transaction records

Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of any payment you made. These are kept for as long as the law requires and are never used to contact you or to rebuild your profile.

Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics

Counts such as “how many people checked eligibility this month”. These carry no name, email, phone number or device identifier, and cannot be traced back to you.

The deletion request itself

Kept as proof that we acted on your request, and so we can answer any question about it later.
