The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is recruiting Special Public Prosecutors (SPP) to conduct trials for Lokpal-referred cases across various locations. Eligible candidates must hold an LLB, be enrolled with the Bar Council, and possess a minimum of 10 years' experience handling criminal matters. Application Fee
The Professional Fee of the advocates engaged as Special Public Prosecutor will be governed by the terms & conditions contained in DoPT File No. 225/19/2023-AVD-II dated 08.04.2024. The specific fee amount is not specified in the notification itself; a copy of the DoPT file is stated to be attached to the official advertisement.
Selection Process
Applications are submitted online along with the prescribed proforma and supporting documents; only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction by CBI. The proposal for engagement is also subject to approval, as recorded in the prescribed proforma, from DOP/CBI, the Director, CBI, and the Learned Attorney General.
