CSIR-CMERI CoEFM Ludhiana is conducting a walk-in interview for multiple positions including Project JRF, Project Associate-II, and Project Associate-I. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in relevant fields are invited to apply on 10 July 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
| Criteria | Details |

| Educational Qualification | B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Agricultural / Mechatronics Engineering (as per post code). For JRF: GATE/NET qualified preferred. |
| Desirable Qualifications | Knowledge of CAD software, mechanical fabrication techniques, design & development of agricultural machinery. |
Vacancy Details
Post Code P-601 to P-605 (Multiple posts under various projects): Project JRF / Project Associate-II / Project Associate-I in Mechanical / Agricultural / Mechatronics Engineering. Project Assistant Level-II. Tenure: Up to 31/03/2027 (extendable, co-terminus with project).
Remuneration Details
- Project JRF: Rs. 37,000 + HRA
- Project Associate-II: Rs. 35,000 / Rs. 28,000 + HRA (depending on GATE/NET qualification)
- Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000 / Rs. 25,000 + HRA
- Project Assistant Level-II: Rs. 20,000 (fixed)
Selection Process
Walk-in Interview on 10 July 2026. Candidates must bring all original documents, self-attested photocopies, filled application form, and recent passport size photograph. Selection is based on interview performance.

Appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates will not have any claim for regular appointment. The number of vacancies may vary on the date of interview. Decision of CSIR-CMERI will be final and binding. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
