Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) is hiring 1 Ground Instructor (Air Regulations) with a Post-Graduate qualification and substantial aviation experience. Eligibility Criteria
| Criteria | Details |
|---|---|
| Educational Qualification | Post-Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University. |
| Professional Qualification / Experience | Held or holding CPL/ATPL; OR Air Traffic Controller from AAI/Defence Forces; OR Minimum 10 years professional experience in civil aviation regulatory domain, airline operations, or aviation safety management. |
| Teaching Experience | Minimum 05 years teaching/instructional experience in aviation-related subjects at DGCA approved Flying Training Organisations, Defence Aviation Training Establishments, Universities/Colleges offering aviation programmes, or AAI training centres. |
| Nationality | Indian Nationals only. |
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Aviation Science, Aviation Law, Transport Management, or related discipline.
- Published research papers/articles on aviation regulations or safety management.
- DGCA examination setting/moderation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical training on Air Regulations, Rules of the Air, Licensing Requirements, Flight Rules, and ICAO Annexes.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and question banks as per DGCA CARs.
- Conduct internal assessments and assist in DGCA exam preparation.
- Maintain training records, student performance reports, and compliance documentation.
- Update course content with latest DGCA/ICAO regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with Chief Ground Instructor and Flight Instructors for integrated training.
- Ensure adherence to IGRUA standards of training, discipline, and safety.
