| Minimum Educational Qualification | M.Sc. / B.Tech in Life sciences / Biotechnology / Bioengineering / Chemistry with minimum 70% marks or equivalent grade. |
| Preference / Desirable | 1. Work experience or MS project in Drosophila genetics or genomics laboratory. 2. Candidates who have qualified National exams (CSIR-NET, DBT-NET, GATE, JGEEBILS). 3. Basic degree in Biochemistry or Genetics. |
| Age Limit | Not more than 30 years (relaxation as per rules). |
