The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is inviting applications for the position of Junior Technician (Trainee) with 6 vacancies. Candidates with an ITI Certificate in relevant trades and a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria
- Turner: ITI Certificate in Turner from a NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute with minimum 60% marks. Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech are not eligible.
- Machinist: ITI Certificate in Machinist from a NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute with minimum 60% marks. Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech are not eligible.
- Fitter: ITI Certificate in Fitter from a NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute with minimum 60% marks. Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech are not eligible.
- Welder: ITI Certificate in Welder from a NCVT/SCVT recognized Institute with minimum 60% marks. Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Diploma/B.E./B.Tech are not eligible.
