The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board invites J&K Domicile candidates to apply for various posts including Boiler Mechanic and Senior Horticulture Technician. A total of 130 vacancies are available across 6 departments. The application period is from 22-06-2026 to 21-07-2026.
Age is calculated as on 01-01-2026. The minimum age for all categories is that the candidate must not have been born after 01-01-2008. Standard age relaxations are applicable only to candidates applying against reserved vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of application, i.e. 21-07-2026. Candidature is accepted provisionally and is subject to verification of documents at the Document Verification stage.
Educational Qualifications
Boiler Mechanic / Incubator Mechanic: Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Institute
Refrigerator Mechanic: Three Years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with six months specialization in refrigeration

Senior Horticulture Technician: B.Sc. Horticulture or B.Sc. Agriculture with Horticulture as major subject from a recognized University
Electrician (Sheep/Animal Husbandry): Matric with ITI in Electrical Trade
Junior Grader: Matric with Science
Plumber: Middle pass with ITI in the line
Copy Holder: Graduate from a recognized University
Machineman / Binder / Lathe Runner: Matric with at least one year ITI/Diploma in relevant printing/mechanical trade OR Matric with 7 years experience in printing field from Govt./recognized private institution
Press Mechanic (Jr. Scale): Matric with ITI in the respective trade
Assistant Extension Officer: Diploma in Textile Technology from any recognized Institute
Head Weaver: Matric with ITI in Weaving
Weaver: ITI in Weaving
Dyeing Instructor: Matric with ITI in Dyeing
Dyeing Master: Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology from any recognized Institution
Quality Control Supervisor / Technical Assistant: Diploma in Handloom/Wool/Wood Technology from a recognized Institute
Loan Inspector / Inspector Induscos: Commerce Graduate (with diploma in Industrial Cooperative Management for Inspector Induscos)
Caretaker / Supervisor Common Facility Centre: Graduate from a recognized University
Computer Assistant: Bachelor of Computer Application OR Graduate with two years Diploma in Computer Science OR “O” Level certificate of DOEACC
Library Assistant: Bachelor of Library Science from a recognized University
Mistry / Plumber-II: Matriculation with National Trade Test/ITI trained in the particular trade
Laboratory Assistant (FSL): Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Science OR Medical Subjects (Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics) OR Non-Medical Subjects (Electronics/Computer Science/IT) from UGC recognized University
Junior Storekeeper: Graduation from any UGC recognized University and Six months Certificate Course in Computer Application from recognized Institute
Laboratory Attendant: 10+2 with Science (Maths or Biology as one of the subjects) from any recognized Board
Electrician Grade-II / Plumber Grade-II / Tailor (Prison Dept.): Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2 with Diploma/Certificate in the relevant trade from ITI/Government recognized Institute
Assistant Jobber / Fitter: Matric with ITI in relevant trade
