Category-wise relaxations: SC/ST/ALC - 5 years; Ex-Servicemen - As prescribed under applicable DoPT/Administration rules; Serving SPOs (minimum 3 years continuous engagement) - Upper age limit of 37 years; Serving VHGs (minimum 5 years continuous engagement) - Upper age limit of 37 years. Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the prescribed age criteria.

Candidates must have passed 10th Class/Matriculation from a recognised Board of School Education. Serving Special Police Officers (SPOs) of Ladakh Police who have completed at least three years of continuous engagement on the last date of submission of applications are eligible with an 8th Pass qualification, subject to fulfilment of all other prescribed conditions. The qualification must have been acquired on or before the last date fixed for submission of online application forms.
