The Northeast Frontier Railway has issued Employment Notice No. 02/2026 for the recruitment against the Cultural Quota for the year 2026-27. They are looking for talented individuals for the posts of Saxophonist and Western Classical Pianist with a total of 02 vacancies. Pay Scale
The posts of Saxophonist and Western Classical Pianist are in Level-2 (GP-1900). The notification does not specify an in-hand salary figure.

Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed based on a written test and assessment of talent. The written test includes objective type questions, and assessment includes practical demonstration and testimonials/prizes. There will be negative marking, and the minimum qualifying percentage is 40% for both stages separately.

Important Instructions
Candidates should satisfy all eligibility norms as on the closing date for submission of application. Any discrepancy can lead to rejection. Applications without compulsory enclosures will be rejected, and decisions of the Northeast Frontier Railway Administration are final.
