The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) invites applications for the post of Assistant Director of Town Planning with 10 vacancies. Candidates with qualifications such as B.Arch., B.E./B.Tech. (Civil), or related degrees are eligible, with an age limit of 18 to 44 years.
Age Limit for TGPSC Assistant Director of Town Planning Recruitment 2026
Age is reckoned as on 1 July 2026. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 44 years (the upper age limit having been raised from 34 to 44 years vide G.O.Ms.No.86, G.A.(Ser.A) Department, dated 18/05/2026). Candidates for the minimum age should not be born after 01/07/2008, and for the maximum age should not be born before 02/07/1982.
Age Relaxation
SC/ST/BCs & EWS: 5 years
Physically Handicapped persons: 10 years
Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 years, based on length of regular service
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus length of service rendered in the Armed Forces
NCC Instructors: 3 years plus length of service rendered in the NCC
No person is eligible if he/she is less than 18 years of age or has crossed 61 years (superannuation age), even after availing eligible age relaxations.
